These Porsche brake damping discs (often referred to as squeal shims) sit between the brake pad and the pistons. They are used to prevent brake pad squeal and ensure that the brakes pads sit in exactly the correct location. They are a standard fitment when the vehicle is built and help provide your brakes perform at the optimum levels.
