986 Boxster, 996 & 997 Mass Air Flow Sensor

Porsche 986 Boxster, 996 Carrera & 997 Carrera mass air flow meter & sensor for vehicles fitted with Electronic Throttle Control (ie. NO throttle cable but a drive by wire system).

Suitable for the following models:-
986 Boxster (2.7L), 986 Boxster S (3.2L) all models built from 2000-2004 (with the exception of a few early 2000 models)
996 C2/C4/C4S Carrera 2, Carrera 4, Carrera 4S (all 3.6L engines) built between 2002-2005 (NOT 3.4L or TURBO)
997 C2, C4 Carrera 2, Carrera 4 & C2S, C4S Carrera 2S, Carrera 4S (all 3.6L & 3.8L engines) built between 2005 and 2008 model (NOT TURBO)

If you have any doubts about which sensor you require, carefully remove your existing sensor from the air box cover of your vehicle. You will find the Porsche part number marked on the side of the sensing element. Compare it with the part number we have listed below.
