986 Boxster & 996 Mass Air Flow Sensor

Porsche 986 Boxster & 996 Carrera 2 & 4 mass air flow meter & sensor for vehicles fitted with a cable operated throttle body - i.e. there is a physical cable that runs from the accelerator pedal to the throttle body (NOT Electronic Throttle Control).

Suitable for the following models:-
986 Boxster (2.5L), 986 Boxster (2.7L) all models built to 1999
996 C2, Carrera 2, 996 C4, Carrera 4 (all 3.4L engines with 2 & 4 wheel drive) built to 1998-1999 with M96.01 & M96.02 engine codes (NOT 3.6L or TURBO)

If you have any doubts about which sensor you require, carefully remove your existing sensor from the air box cover of your vehicle. You will find the Porsche part number marked on the side of the sensing element. Compare it with the part number we have listed below.
