987 Boxster Cayman 997 Carrera Front & Rear Control Arm

Lower control arms (or wishbone) with ball joint for the front suspension of all models 987 Boxster, Cayman and all 997 C2, C4 Carrera 2, Carrera 4 & C2S, C4S Carrera 2S, Carrera 4S & Turbo (not GT2).

These will fit
all 987 Boxster, Boxster S (2.7L, 3.2L & 3.4L) models built between 2005 and 2008 (Front all models, Rear from 2006 models)
all Cayman, Cayman S (2.7L & 3.4L) models built between 2006 and 2008 (Front all models, Rear from 2006 models)
and
all 997 C2, C4 Carrera 2, Carrera 4 & C2S, C4S Carrera 2S, Carrera 4S and Turbo (not GT2) (3.6L & 3.8L) built between 2005 and 2008 model. (Front all models, Rear from 2006 models)

The control arm comes complete with bushes and ball joint and are manufactured by TRW - the same company that makes them for Porsche.

1. 986 987 Boxster Cayman 996 997 Rear Track Control Arm with Ball Joint

Porsche Boxster suspension control arms are often referred to as a "wishbone" or "coffin arm"

The control arm comes complete with bushes and ball joint and are sourced directly from the manufacturer, TRW, the same manufacturer that make them for Porsche.

There is one control arm per wheel on the vehicle and these are not "handed". The same control arm can be used to fit the front or rear suspension and also the left or right hand side of the car.

Contrary to popular belief, bush and ball joint kits are not available for these components from Porsche and Porsche recommend that the whole control arm is replaced.

These control arms are sometimes called "wishbones" and are often reffered to in the trade as "coffin arms" due to their shape!
